About Redirecting Our Culture Inc.
Krystal Gonzalez is a wife, mother of four, and a nationally recognized change maker who has turned unimaginable loss into a mission of hope and healing.
After the tragic shooting death of her daughter, Aaliyah, at a Baltimore block party, Krystal transformed her pain into purpose. What began as a personal fight for justice has grown into a movement that uplifts families, restores communities, and builds resilience in the face of violence.
As the founder of Redirecting Our Culture Inc. (ROC), Krystal leads with courage, compassion, and conviction. ROC is dedicated to empowering families directly impacted by violence while championing character development and community restoration. Through mentorship, healing initiatives, youth programs, and advocacy, ROC creates spaces where dignity, pride, and respect are rebuilt—and where survivors discover their own power.
In just two years, Krystal has expanded her reach beyond local advocacy, becoming a sought-after voice on resilience, healing, and systemic change. Grounded in faith and guided by a vision of “common unity,” she continues to inspire others to rise from tragedy and plant seeds of transformation in their communities.
Redirecting Our Culture is more than an organization—it is a movement!
